The “Interdisciplinary Centre for Aristotle Studies”, A.U.TH.
is organizing on May 12-15, 2012 an International Symposium on:
“THE ISSUE OF TIME IN ARISTOTLE “
with the participation of distinguished Aristotle scholars from France, Belgium, Germany, U.K., Italy, Spain, Norway, Portugal, Brazil, U.S.A. and Greece, with the participation of four philosophers Members of the Academy of Athens.
The Symposium will be held at Aristotle University and in Mieza-Naoussa, the place where Aristotle taught Alexander the Great.
Within the context of the Symposium will also be held: (a) Roundtable discussion in Mieza-Naoussa on the theme, “ASPECTS OF ARISTOTLE’S THEORY OF TIME” (in Greek) with the participation of Aristotle scholars, (b) Roundtable discussion on the theme “THE CONCEPT OF TIME” (in Greek) with the participation of scientists from the fields of Physics, Mathematics, Astronomy, Biology, Meteorology, Psychiatry and Philosophers.
