Dear colleagues and friends,
The International Virtual Conference on “ARISTOTLE AND THE SCIENCES,” February 21, 2022, was held with great success and turned out to be a most successful celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Aristotle Studies (DI.K.A.M.), of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.).
The high quality of the presentations of outstanding experts on Aristotle worldwide gave exceptional prestige and value to this Conference; at the same time, the warm expression of appreciation for our ten-years activity, gives us the strength to continue our efforts with the same enthusiasm.
We wish to express our sincere thanks to the former President of the Hellenic Republic, Prokopios Pavlopoulos, and all our prominent speakers, Professors, Dermot Moran, Christof Rapp, Christos Zerefos, Theodosios Tassios, Nikolaos Paraskevopoulos, Richard McKirahan, Jeffrey D. Sachs, Pantelis Golitsis, Lambros Couloubaritsis, and James Lennox, for their excellent presentations.
We would also like to express our thanks to the Rector of A.U.TH., Nikolaos Papaioannou, the President of FISP and President of the 25th World Congress of Philosophy, in Rom 2024, Luca M. Scarantino, and Professor Thomas Calvo for their exceptional welcome speeches, as well as to our distinguished guests, Deputy Minister of Macedonia and Thrace, Stavros Kalafatis and Head of the Office of the Prime Μinister in Thessaloniki, Maria Antoniou, for their welcome address.
And last, but not least, we wish to express our sincere thanks to all our colleagues and friends from all parts of the world, who attended the conference.
