On Friday August 17, 2018, Demetra Sfendoni-Mentzou, Professor Emerita of Philosophy of Science and President of the “Interdisciplinary Centre for Aristotle Studies,” A.U.Th. was the Chair of the Plenary Session on Nature, at the 24thWORLD CONGRESS OF PHILOSOPHY, Beijing 2018.
The volume includes 22 essays by leading Aristotle scholars, who participated as Invited Speakers in the World Congress “Aristotle 2400 Years.” The Congress was organized by the “Interdisciplinary Center for Aristotle Studies” of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki on May 23-28, 2016, in commemoration of the 2400 years since the birth of the Stageirite philosopher Aristotle. The publication by the Aristotle University of the Congress Proceedings will appear soon; it includes 118 papers presented at the Parallel Sessions of the Congress.
